To get in the spirit of Oktoberfest (one of the best in the world is held in my hometown of Addison!) we had a little bash at work!

What you need:
  • Polka Pandora station.
  • Variety of Beer: Spaten, Hefeweizen (I used Blue Moon), and Oktoberfest (I used Sam Adams).
  • German Food!  I catered in Henks Deli
    • Soft pretzels with mustard
    • Bratwurst & Sauerkraut
    • Chicken Schnitzel
    • Potato Salad
    • Cheese tray
    • Black Forest Cake
    • Apple Strudel
  • Costumes were highly encouraged.

My Pinterest has gone through a complete overhaul and is super user friendly (at least I think) to all my Lovely Little Brides out there.

Check it out and let me know what you think! -

Invites just got easier...

Today I discovered this site Postable.  It's an online (and private) address book.  Once you create an account it gives you a custom link to send friends and family.  When they click on the link they are taken to page to enter their Name, Address, E-mail, Phone, Birthday, and Spouse/Partner name.  You can then take that information and do multiple things with it such as export to Excel or export into label format.  This is perfect for weddings, birthdays, or any event where you will be mailing an invite.  If my family and friends actually complete this it will be a huge time saver and save me from having to send a group message where people respond with their personal information to the whole group.  Plus if there are any typos it's on them, not me!
